37 Days of Change ("37 Days," "we," "us," or "our") provides a mobile app and related services (the "App" or "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. We wrote this to be clear and straightforward.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. What We Collect

A. Information you provide directly
When you use 37 Days, you may provide information such as:

- Account information (for example, email address, password, display name)
- Profile information (for example, profile photo, username/display name settings)
- Challenge information (for example, goals, rules, check-ins, streak-related activity, progress)
- Community content (for example, chat messages, reactions, reports)
- Referral/invite information (for example, invite code used or referral-related support details)
- Support requests (for example, subject, category, details, and contact information you provide)

B. Information collected automatically or generated through use of the app
We also collect some technical and service-related information needed to run the app, such as:

- Device/app information needed to operate and secure the Service
- Notification settings and reminder preferences (if you enable reminders)
- Push notification token (if you enable notifications)
- Timestamps and service-generated technical metadata used for app operations, moderation, support, and abuse prevention

C. Purchase information (Plus)
If you purchase Plus, payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play (not by us directly).

We may receive limited purchase-related metadata needed to grant and manage access, such as:
- product identifier
- transaction identifier or purchase token details
- platform/store
- entitlement status / challenge-cycle access timing

We do not receive your full payment card number.

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information in a few simple ways:

- Directly from you (for example, when you create an account, upload a profile photo, send a support request, post in chat, or complete check-ins)
- Automatically from your device/app usage (for example, technical metadata, timestamps, and notification token if enabled)
- From platform/service providers involved in app distribution and purchases (for example, Apple App Store or Google Play purchase metadata needed to confirm access)

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

- Create and manage accounts
- Let you participate in the 37-day challenge (goals, rules, check-ins, streaks, leaderboards, and progress)
- Run community features (chat, reactions, announcements, moderation, and safety/reporting)
- Process and manage Plus access, including challenge-cycle access and purchase support
- Process invite/referral attribution and related support issues
- Send reminders and service notifications you choose to enable
- Respond to support requests
- Detect abuse, fraud, spam, and misuse
- Enforce our Terms and community rules
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of users and the Service

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in these situations:

A. Service providers and infrastructure providers
We use service providers to operate the app (for example, app infrastructure, database/storage, push notifications, and app distribution support). These providers may process information on our behalf to help us run the Service.

We require service providers that process personal information for us to provide protections consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

B. Platform providers
We may share information with Apple, Google, and related platform services as needed for app distribution, in-app purchase operations, and platform compliance.

C. Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:
- comply with law or legal process
- enforce our Terms
- investigate fraud, abuse, or safety issues
- protect users, the public, or our rights/property

D. Business transfers
If 37 Days is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

5. Community and Public Content

Some parts of the app are social/community-based. Information you choose to post in community features (such as chat messages, display name, profile photo, and reactions) may be visible to other users based on how the feature works.

Please use care when sharing personal information in community spaces.

6. Notifications and Permissions

The app may request permissions such as:
- Notifications (for reminders and service notifications you enable)
- Photo library access (for profile photo upload)

You can deny permissions, and many core features will still work. You can also change permissions later in your device settings.

If you turn on reminders, we may store your reminder settings and push token to send the reminders you requested.

7. Account Deletion, Password Management, and Your Choices

You can manage important account actions in the app, including:
- Change password: Settings > Account Security
- Delete account: Settings > Account Security > Delete Account

If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify account-related information, except where we need to retain certain information for legitimate reasons such as:
- legal compliance
- security and fraud prevention
- accounting or platform-related records
- limited backup/recovery systems for a short period

Some records (such as support, moderation, or transaction-related records) may be retained as needed for operational, legal, safety, or compliance purposes.

8. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the Service
- operate and secure the app
- support users
- investigate abuse/fraud
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, and platform obligations

Retention periods can vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.

9. Your Rights and Requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request:
- access to personal information we hold about you
- correction of inaccurate information
- deletion of personal information
- a copy of certain information
- restriction or objection to certain processing (where applicable)

10. Children’s Privacy

37 Days is not directed to children under 13 (or older minimum age where required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age threshold.

If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this policy, contact us and we will review and take appropriate action.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

No system is perfectly secure, and no method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we take steps designed to protect personal information during international transfers.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services and platforms to function (for example, infrastructure/database/storage, push notifications, app distribution, and in-app purchase systems). Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

As of our current app implementation, we do not use third-party ad SDKs or cross-app tracking (ATT) for advertising in the app.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice when required by law.
